Privacy Policy

1. Video and photo data

The App performs face detection, mosaic/blur/black-box masking, trimming, text and effect overlays, and export entirely on your Mac (on-device).

Face detection uses Apple's Vision framework, which also runs entirely on-device. Your videos and photos themselves are never sent to the developer or any third-party server.

2. AI editing and model downloads

AI editing of still images (eraser, upscaling, background processing, and prompt editing) also runs entirely on your Mac. The images you edit and the prompts you type are never sent to the developer or any third-party server.

The models used for AI editing are downloaded directly from their distributor (Hugging Face) only when you choose to download them. As with any internet connection, the distributor receives standard connection information such as your IP address, but no images, prompts, or information identifying you are sent. Downloaded models are stored in the App’s own storage area and can be deleted from Settings at any time.

Prompts written in languages other than English are converted to English on your Mac using Apple Intelligence (Apple’s on-device language model) or macOS Translation (for downloaded languages).

3. Access to files and folders

The App is a sandboxed macOS app. Access to source media and export destination folders is limited to what you explicitly choose through the system's standard file picker.

If you set a default save location in Settings, the App retains access to that folder (via macOS security-scoped bookmarks) so you're not asked again on every export. It never accesses any location you haven't chosen.

4. In-app purchase

The logo-removal feature is a one-time in-app purchase processed through Apple's StoreKit.

The App and its developer never directly collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers; this is handled by Apple (the App Store). The App communicates with Apple only to verify and restore purchase status.

5. Accounts and advertising

No account or sign-in is required to use the App.

The App does not display advertising.

6. Analytics on this website

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting and uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how the site is used.

This may collect information such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate region, and device/browser type. This relates only to how this website is browsed and is unrelated to the video and photo data processed inside the App.

7. Third-party services

The App and this website use services provided by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) and Google (Firebase). Each provider's own privacy policy governs how it handles data.

Model downloads for AI editing use Hugging Face.

8. Children's privacy

The App and this website are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised without notice to reflect changes in law or in the App or website. Any revision takes effect once posted on this page.
